The Invitation Orchestra was
founded to offer a unique educational opportunity for accomplished,
local amateur and adult and student musicians living in the Chilterns,
who are given the chance to rehearse and to perform alongside
professionals.
A special feature of this orchestra is that, for each concert, a local
composer is commissioned to write a new work. The orchestra has
commissioned three new works and intends to commission others in the
future. |
